Well there are the generic: baby, babydoll, sweetie, honey, sugar, etc. And then there are names that mean something only the two of you understand, maybe from an inside joke or something. Here are some I've been given from ex-boyfriends (and they are as corny as they get!):
Prettygirl (not making this up!)
Cornflake (I think this came off of a TV show .. )
Jellybean
Gypsy
Curly
Penguin ( I LOVE penguins)
Just find something about her that is unique and that you love and that would make a perfect nickname .. it doesn't have to be something you'd willing should from the rooftops! ;)

There is a reason the nicknames "baby" and "honey" and "sweetie" were invented: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use your girlfriend's name or a personalized nickname while making out or duting sex. A man's brain goes into neutral during those times and the other "head" does the thinking. You don't want to accidentally call out your previous GF's name or nickname. Don't get yourself into the trap of a specialized nickname. It'll bite you in the *** one day, and you'll be out on the street.

nah son! what you need to do is back off. you don't know how good you got it. you should keep your mouth shut, smile and nod. why would you wanna put yourself in the position where you're watching the game wit the guys, she calls up and tells you she won't hang up until you call her "boo boo" in front of your homies. if you ask me you're just voluntarily walking the plank.
