Okay right after the parking lot near the mall in sussex.
The golden arches next to it I believe was a new idea for
food and quaffing ales. I ask for root beer, because they
sing the house of commons song a lot. Old Mcadonnahs
had a farm, e, i, o. I get a huge root beer by saying
supersize me, and then I drank 4 refills, quietly tho, and
took two more to go by going out to the car I believe I may
sometime fill two or moore moore. I argued I was a former
employee with all the benefits tho, and it was just .50 cents.

Any Wetherspoons pub outside of central London (where they are a little more expensive - though still cheap)
However, any pub owned by Samuel Smiths (of which there are a number in central London) will sell you a pint of Old Brewery Bitter for around £1.70. Thus they are the cheapest in Central London. The most prominent ones in the West End are the Chandos (end of St Martins Lane near Trafalgar Sq) the Lyceum Tavern (Strand) and the Princess Louise (High Holborn).

Crosse Keys, 9 Gracechurch Street, EC3V 0DR OK, it's a Wetherspoons pub and a huge building, pints start at £2.60 for a guest ale like Bombardier. Fullers London Pride breaks the £3 barrier......just about.

Any branch of Wetherspoons is a good bet for reasonably priced beer. If you want a cheap drink join up your local working mens club and get yourself a CIU card (about 6 quid), then you can get into all the cheap working mens clubs all over town, but be warned: you won't find any girls in there and half the clientele will be grumpy old self righteous drunks with attitude problemos. Best bet, go to a stylish place but sneak a few extra cans in your rucksack in from the offie and hey presto!! Your pint lasts 3 times longer (Don't get caught by the bouncers though.OOWCH!).

The Westminster Arms, you should go on a weekday, not weekend, and be sure to go upstairs for some food, quite a lot of celebs go in there, when I worked there I met Roger Moore, and quite a few others, lots of polititians go in there too with it being right accross the road from the houses or parliment. Good food, not too expensive beer, wine cellar in the basement and very friendly staff :)
