Straight out of the NY Times:
"Mrs. Edwards was preparing for further tests — ones she said she expected would reveal a perilous spread of the cancer — and her husband, who is squeamish about IV’s, had left the room."
He left the room while the woman he loves is dying of cancer while she was getting a treatment? And he did this because he's "squeamish about IV's?" I almost (but not quite) wish I was a registered Democrat so I could vote against this idiot in the primary. If you have no backbone, you're not fit to be a president. But, I mean at least try to find your backbone so you can support your dying wife if you want to be a decent human being much less a presdient.
And isn't this the same jerk who stole millions out of our health care system? Shouldn't he be used to way more horrible medical situations by now?

Lots of negative reponses here. This is why it will be a long time before a democrat is elected president. None of almost all of the latter respondents saw the larger point: We can not have spineless individuals as presidents in this day and age. We live in a world where terrorists hate us for our achievement, strength, and individual responsibility. They attacked us on September 11, 2001 and killed 3,000 of some of our best. I will never forget that and neither will the voters come election time. If an Edwards gets elected you can expect terrorists to start plotting again because they'll know full well that he does not represent anything like your typical American. He would let them use the world and our country as their personal killng playground. If he can't rise to the occasion to support his own wife, then he can't rise to the occasion to keep us alive. If you cast your lot for Edwards, then do so at your own risk and at your fellow Americans.

Ha! This is why Edwards will never be elected. His spin-doctors are seriously out-classed by the Republican attack dogs...bringing this situation into a political discussion is typical of the disgusting things these people will do to get someone elected-via the "liberal media" I might add.

George Bush is squimish about telling the truth.
Mr. Edwards won millions of dollars from Drs. who messed people up, so the people had money to get by.

22 years military service and I can pass out when someone gets stuck. You have to be kidding me to think that such a rash judgment at what qualifies someone to be president.
When you make such rash connections -- excuse me its people like you that have ultimatly resulted in us having Presidents like Bush and Clinton.

Give me a break. You know what? I can take blood. I can take gore. I watched my hand get severed by a knife and watched them stich it up, fascinated. I went through a seminar with the Chief Medical Examiner of our City and it was gory. Not one burp of nausea. Put a needle in me to numb it...I want to vomit. That's the way people are. What a dumb question.
Oh, and getting my son's first shots...I cried. His pain was mine. Don't forget that.

Edwards would still be better then Bush, who fights a war that should of never been, Americans giving their lives everyday for people who don't give a **** and want us dead. Bush and all those around him are a bunch of assholes. I would not been so concerned about someone not wanting to see an iv!
