malachi 4 has a 2 fold purpose accrding to what Jesus said. the disciples said, why say the scribes the elijah must 1st come? jesus answered and said, truly elijah shall 1st come and restore all things. but i say elijah has already come and did unto him as it is listed. Then the disciples new He spoke of John the baptist.
John was already dead but Christ spoke that elijah shall 1st come and restore all things. He put it future tense, prophesying that he foreruns the 2nd coming as well as forerunning his 1st coming, which was John the baptist.
while Bro. William Branham was baptizing on the Ohio river in 1933 b4 many witnesses was heard a voice saying as John the baptist foreran my 1st coming so send I you with a message to forerun my 2nd coming. God answered his prayers for healing of the people and performed the sign of the prophet again fulfilling the Lord's words saying the works that I do shall you do also yet greater works shall you do. He fulfilled that scripture.

I believe William Branham was a true servant of the Lord and mighty in the things of the Spirit, but he was not Elijah. In fact I believe it was because of this very deception that he came under that the Lord graciously removed him from the scene, just as he did 50 years earlier with Alexander Dowey, also mighty in the things of God, who came under the same delusion.
For further insight into this matter I suggest the book "My Diary Secrets", by Frieda Lindsay, the wife of Gordon Lindsay, who was a close associate of William Branham and the chief chronicler of the healing movement that arose around 1948 and continued into the 60's.

Jesus warned that many false prophets would come. Signs and wonders do not prove the validity of a prophet and the decieved will "hold to a form of godliness", as "Satan decieves the very elect."

William Branham birth and life was accompanied by some supernatural signs. He also said the Lord would come and establish His kingdom in 1974--OOPS. Also there are on-line publications by witness that saw him pronounce many at his healing sessions cured--but not one could be produced at later inquiries.

God's last-day church will keep all ten commandments of God, too. Branham nailed one commandment to the corss.

But there is one miracleous code in the Bible that identifies Antichrist--and it isn't Branham. Check it out at www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

There will be two witnesses that will be murdered because of the heavy plagues that will come against the beast because of them just like moses did the first time. These to will probably be Enoch and Elijah. The reason i think that is because it is written that it is for man but to die only once. So the two witnesses have to one of those few who didn't die a bodily death but rather transfigured and was taken up to heaven.

"Behold I (G-d) am sending to you Eliyahu the Prophet before the coming of the great and awesome Day of G-d. And he will bring back the hearts of the parents toward (their) children and the hearts of the children towards (their) parents, lest I come and smite the Earth to oblivion." (Malachi 3:23-24)

Yes - Elijah is supposed to bring families back together again - and prepare them for the coming Dreadful Day of the Lord! (You see, religion has divided families, and turned them into enemies.)
