I would suggest a 6 foot tall privacy fence. I have had 2 labs for the past 8 years and I have a 6 foot tall privacy fence and they have done quite well with this. If it were any shorter they would be able to jump it. So, I highly recommend no shorter than 6 foot. Good luck.

i don't know but I can tell you how high a fence has to be to keep an 8 week old Shih Tzu in lol. That little thing would climb that fence as if she was walking on the ground. We couldn't make a fence high enough to keep her in. We had to put up boards lol funniest sight you ever want to see lol What I am saying here if a dog wants to get out bad enough there is no fence high enough to keep them in.. but to a normal dog about five feet will work lol.

Not to high....Just about 5-6 feet so no one can look inside your yard and steal it or throw things at it.
