It is Geodon 40mg (Ziprasadone Hydrochloride) and is an atypical antipsychotic used in the treatment of a wide variety of psychologic conditions. The most prominent use of this drug is in the treatment of schizophrenia. This drug should NOT be taken if it was not prescribed to you by your doctor. It is also sometimes used in bipolar disorder to treat mania episodes. It is VERY important that people with preexisting heart conditions not take this drug, it can cause serious arrhythmias is all patients and this could be lethal to heart patients. The most common adverse effects are drowsiness, nausea, and constipation. Hope this helps!
