I just got a new tattoo on my leg on Friday, and now its getting infected. I got an allergic reaction to the healing product the artist sold to me. I'm looking for any tips to help heal my tattoo without it getting damaged. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

yea, why not u jus go to the doctor's straight? stop wasting time wit the tattoo artist and see the doctor first. once your done wit the doctor, settle it with the tattoo artist.

Get back over to the tattoo artist as soon as possible. Take the ointment they sold to you and see if you can get your money back, then ask him how you can keep your new tattoo from getting ruined. It could be something as easy as using Neosporin on it until it heals, or you may need to see your doctor (which you should do anyways) for a prescription ointment.

You need to go back to that artist asap. I got a staph infection with a tattoo i had, and it messed my tattoo up completley. It faded and looks like crap.If there is no way to fix this, you should still go to the artist and see if you can get it touched up once the infection is gone, free of charge.

try putting a thin layer of preperation h on it., I'm serious it worked on two of my tattoos and they are ten years old and just as bright as the day I got them.
