omg girl i have the same problem. all i can say is that dont shampoo your hair everyday cuz it will make it dry and when you keep in your natural oils itll be easier to flat iron and curl it. just condition it. it may sound gross but this is only every other day

Ok my friend has really thick hair and when it gets out of control on some days she gets that scrunch moose and scrunches her hair and it goes into waves & crurls that looks like the barrel curls and dries throughout the day. Its a great hairstyle and even if ur hair does get messed up during the day it still goes with the hair! if u want a more sophisticated look try pulling only half of ur hair into a pony tail and straightening the bottom half that isn't in the pony tail. Good Luck!

I always use professional salon styling products. They may seem costly but it is very worth it. Some products that aren't professional are good too. Ex.: Herbal Essenses. I have straight hair but it gets frizzy if it is humid, then I use some light mousse or very light moisturizing gel. Don't not buy the gel that does not say moisturizing or soft hair. Then it will make your hair have a "crunchy" feeling. It also depends on what age you are try different websites on thick-hair hair styles. It is very good to have thick hair. I have very thick hair too. So many girls would die to have hair like mine and yours.

Actually you can do more than you think. You can do lots of decorative clips and accessories, sweeping it back, updo's of several different kinds, creative use of braids...
There lots of styles in those general do's. I would check out a book to really see all the options. I like the one's they actually sell for children, cause they give you exact directions on how to do them all.
Just be creative. Take a day to just play with your hair and try all sorts of crazy things, maybe you'll find something you like.
