I am not racial! I have a daughter that is 1/2 black and 1/2 white.. I think tht all people are the same i judge on actions not color. BUT there are some people in the world that are closed minded and have issues with this. IF your serious with a person of another race, make sure that you can handle the people that will make remarks of stupidity. My child has been called several names and still has some that have issues with her espically the older generations. I have become very thickskinned so to speak And would not change her or her color for anything is this world Just make sure that you are will to handle some ridicule, IF you cant then that is something to think of because stupid people will call names and make remarks

No, the races don't matter, because love is more important to anything else than just on the outside of a person. I believe that we should be looking into a person's heart and see who they are. It is just my moral belief. Smile. On the hand, we may become judging others but you never know or be thinking like "why am I with that person, I used to teased him badly but now I love that person..." so it many different point of view.

Race doesn't matter at all. If you love the person and the person loves you, why would it matter if you were the same race?

No, of course not. If you really loved that person thats all that matters. You just think about their hearts not race.

I don't think so. Everyone has a heart and soul so it doesn't matter what color they are or where they came from and if you love them then that's even more reason for it not to matter. I think it's neat when different races come together like that.

well, i guess it depends. coming from an indian family, my parents are BIG on dating/marrying a guy of my race for the reason that our indian society does not reject us or something like that. I guess it depends on how your family/society is; if they are PRO on interracial marriages, then it's okay; however, if they are AGAINST it, and you don't want to be rejected by that society, then it's better to find someone of your own race. But if you really REALLY love this person and know FOR SURE that they are someone you can trust in, then go for it! After all, it's YOUR life, not the SOCIETY's. Hope this helped! =)

Race will always play a part. I had a white boyfriend. He didn't get why I had to get a relaxer every month and why I DO NOT want to get my hair wet. Since it's love, it is only minor. We laughed at a lot of racial differences though.

no, of course not...although some might tell you other wise.
I'm with someone a different race and religion to me, and were like two pods in a pea.
don't let anyone tell you race matters! people have to me and i just don't see the reality in it. we're all the same and people who think other wise need to grow up and get over it.

I honestly don't think so. If its true love, then that should have no barrier on anything. Its just a matter of what the 2 of you think. No one else...even though I know thats hard in todays time. I say go for it.

it doesn't.
but that doesn't mean you shouldn't understand the differences that society and history cast upon one's race. there are still a lot of bigoted, tiny-minded freaks in the world who don't like people who look or are culturally different than themselves.
but if you can accept the person for who they are, and be understanding of his or her challenges in this world, you'll do well.
maybe a starting place for you is to explore why you're wondering if race matters ...
