Just downloaded WMP 11. It won't play mp3 files. Is there anything else that is free and easy to use to keep up with music to rip and burn CDs and doesn't suck like Windows?

Actually, WMP is pretty good, just that WMP11 is the sucky version. It SHOULD play mp3's. I never had any problems with it. If they don't play then it must be something wrong with the software. I suggest you uninstall WMP11 and stick with WMP10.

1) Go to your Control Panel.
2) On the left side, click on Classic View.
3) Click on the icon that says Add/Remove Programs.
4) When the window pops up and loads, uninstall WMP11. It will roll you back to 10.

If you don't want to use WMP, there is always WinAmp. It's free and should be downloadable from:
