I can not take the drama and chaos that my sister feels is part of everyday life. My sister has Mom believing that evryone hates her except for my sister. My sister intercepts every email, phone calls and cards.

Your sister sounds controlling and insecure so she makes it look like she's the only one there for your Mom. You need to go visit her. Show up, barge in, whatever it takes. After only one visit, your Mom will know you love her and care very much about her and be sure she knows you have made several efforts and they have been rejected. This is about your Mother and the sister can step aside because YOU are going to make sure Mom knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that you care! Hold your head up high, don't take no for an answer and be strong! Sorry to hear about your Mom's health.

I would find out why? I would also have some respect for someone who is ill... The little time someone has left should be spent doing whatever someone wants to do. Those that care should try as much as possible to make someone as comfortable as possible, and minimize the chaos and sadness. I feel sorry that that happened, i would recommend getting a counselor or getting a way to talk to her alone. U do not want something bad to happen and this left unresolved, it would have a negative impact on the rest of you life... I would find somone to help... I would also make sure that she knows you are trying to see her and that u and this other person grow up and stop the fighting and remember soon u are not going to have someone in your life pretty soon. I would be focused on that.

You need to go over there!! The last thing you want is for your mom to die thinking that you hate her!!!!!! Get past the issues with your sister, and go over there. Take someone with you if you need to, but tell your mom how you really feel about her before it is too late!!!!

Who cares if your sister hates you! Just ignore her ( well at least be a little nice) and care for your mom! l, your mom is dying and you have to see her!! This is really important, who cares about your sister care about your mom, my dad has been in this situation and he was proud he went to visit his mom when his mom was dying while his sister hates her..

Call you sister and tell her that you are coming to see Mom. Ask her if there is anything that you can do while you are there, like watch Mom while she goes out for a massage, movie, etc. But go see your Mom, you will regret it if you don't.

you and your sister have to put aside your difference for right now,, your mother needs you and ur sister should learn that,,
your mother is the one that doesn;t need the chaos in her life right now,,
your sister has to learn that is your mother too and she needs to grow up,, your poor mom needs all the love and support and help that everyone can give her ,,
be there for you mom,,
is there a time when ur sis is not around if there is tomuch tension there,,

I would talk to your sister and explain to here that she is your mother too and that you ARE going to see her. Then I would just reassure your mom that you love her.. I would then start saving things like cards and letter s and such until you are able to come and visit and then give them to her.. It sounds like your sister might be saying this stuff to get your mom to change her will or something so that she gets more..

i can tell you this, there is no one, i mean no one that would keep me from my mom. i don't care what kind of drama there is. i have told this to my family . never ever let anyone come between you and your mom. let her know how you feel and if you have to, take someone with you when you go. tell your sister to grow up and that you will be there to see mom. good luck.

so why arent you knocking on the door? i dont care if your sister hates you or not, thats your mom. if you have to bring a police officer with you to see her then do so.
