I was wondering is there a way that you can trace a number to find out who it is because I am being harrassed by someone by text. I called my phone provider and they told me to make a complaint at the police station and something about harrassment. This person was texting me cursing me out and threatening me. I have a feeling who it is but I am not sure, but I dont know if I should file a complaint or not. If it is who I think it is then I think I do want to make a complaint but if it was a mistake then I dont know. What should I do?

I am not going to lie I also exchanged some words because I got upset. So would it still be ok to file a complaint? This person was saying they would come to my job and smack me. When I was talking to my cell phone provider she called me but I didnt answer and she left a message harrassing me also.

Well it depends on if you want to get smacked in the face or not. Most people who make and carry out threats are more likely have criminal backgrounds so most of them will halt at the warnings of police officers due to it being more than they are willing to go through for a little revenge or whatever sparked the threats. At least that's how it works down here.

Report this to the police immediatedly, this is the adult version of bullying.
They can investigate what is going on, and you can get a restraining order filed on this person who is threatening you.

Stand up for yourself, and get some help. People who bully and act this way only do so because their victims allow them to do so.

Do it as soon as possible, and good luck.

Um, well this person may be pschyo or sicko if I didn't spell it correctly. :)

It doesn't matter if it was you who initiated the first blow or not. If it's been more than two times that this person has left nasty messages they might want to jack you up. Be careful...
