my pit jake is a great dog he does his job and barks when company arrives. but when they leave he walks them to the door barking all the way ,until door is shut. this is not normal ,he is 4yrs. only has done this for the past yr since we moved into this house. any suggestions?

no offense but it sounds to me like your company has bad spirits following them and the dog is making the spirits leave with the company , or maybe he's making sure that your company knows they cant come in unless your there my pits try to leave with everyone that comes over she jumps in the car with them waiting to ride lol

you have me a little stumped on this one. I am thinking put him in another room until they leave and the door is shut and then let him out. , ,but i would rather he learned not to do it. Are you telling him no? of course you can use a muzzle. only put it on him if he barks, and only until the door is shut. then take it off. I think you will find in one month or less he will learn. A muzzle will not cause any pain, and will not cause permanent damage.

you need to make him lay on his back at the door when they leave he is getting aggressive and will start biting next him being a pit does not make a difference
