they may dislike you, but the child is innocent. unless (the dad) is violent, you should not have any fears. as for the gf, if she is going to be in the dads life, and the dad is going to have visitation rights, then it might be a good idea to not try to keep her away from the baby. unless of course she is violent. maby talk about your fears to the dad, even if the 2 of you dont like each other, you still have the baby in common. and will for the rest of your lives.

Sounds like you are domiciliary parent. Set up something with a family law attorney, so that he can visit his son under supervision and without his girlfriend. Explain why you think he needs supervised visitation---Do you have proof that he is irresponsible? Like, criminal background or other children that he does not care for? That would help as well. As long as his girlfriend is not his wife, she has NO right in this situation.
It is truly sad if he will hurt his own flesh and blood because you two do not get along. He is really stupid if he would let his girlfriend hurt his child.

If your really concerned you need to have an adult conversation with him stating that you are both parents now and you need to put your past aside, to concentrate on being the parents your son deserves! I don't think there is anything you can do to keep his new girl friend away if he has visitation rights. You just need to keep the peace now for your son's sake regardless of who did what to each other before. Act like an adult when your around them.. like you want them to act when around your son.

You could get a restraining order. And for the dad if he will not see his child without the gf then you should make him have special visiting rights where he has to come to your house to see the child

I hope that they would not harm him!!!! Go see a counselor ASAP, child agency, someone. I was scared to death, stressed out till I was sick over the SAME thing!!!!! Everything turned out all right. I still ask even tho it has been years later BUT WE had these kids come out of our bodies, they didn't, we also take care of the kids more etc. Motherly love. Take care of YOU or you cannot take care of him.

you need to talk with your local child services dept. the father has a right to see him but if u think he;s a threat and can prove it, then get a restraining. order. if you have full custody then you don't have to let them meet, ever.
