My goal is more of a swimmer build than lean beefy body builder. Do you see me reaching my goals?

My current thing I got going:

1. Workout with weights twice a week. (Have a personal trainer can only afford twice a week)
2. Do Cardio three times a week.
3. Do one arobic class a week.

Do you see me reaching my goals with this program? Feel free to comment.

I am actually seeing nothing wrong with twice a week for resistance (weight) training being you're not aiming for a bodybuilder's body but a "swimmer" build.

If you feel you can't resist but to do 3, try being some free weights for use at home. Or go back into the gym without the use of the PT the "Third day". Once' you've stuck with your PT twice a week for a couple months you'll know what machines work what muscles, how long to rest, etc. And will learn to squeeze an extra day in without ruining your trainer's routine. However, again, and I know the masses will disagree with me, but really since you're not aiming for a body builder's build but a swimmer's build twice is fine.

It might take you longer, but being your a beginner this is also something I hold as a plus, not a negative.

I also agree with the other posters that swimming is something you should add to your roster.

Hi Joshua,
I am happy to answer this question as i used to be somewhat of a good swimmer myself, I also was a lifeguard for 5 seasons. It was a great time in my life.
Do you want a swimmer build because you are competing or just want that "look"?
Either way you need to spend time in the water swimming to get that lean swimmer skill and look. Your doing everything right so far according to your present routine so you just need to add swimming now.
Good luck on reaching your goals!!
God Bless~~

um im not so sure.. i dont really understand the question. if u want to look good for bikini season you need to do sit ups and run to strengthen legs. if u want to look like you swim....then swim!!! swimmers have very muscular arms and legs so lift weights and run if you want to look like a swimmer.
