jesus is God's only begotten son. B4 the foundation of the world God himself gave birth to His Son. Christ was formed out from God in His exact image. He reflected God perfectly. He was God's masterpiece. Christ is not His only son because thru the death of His only Begotten Son he redeems many sons and daughters. Adam was/is a son of God. I am a son of God.

from a philosophical point of view god has one son but that son was his, just like you are someones son/daughter.
In answer his only son is part of a faith story not a belief story, the 2 are completely different unless you are fundamentally extreme then belief and faith are the same.
Remember you don't believe in religion but you believe in something eg. purpose and that's why some follow faith and some stick to broader belief system eg.capitalism or life etc (it can be regarded as a religion)it to has rules that are once again just something you have faith or belief in

Now that is an interesting question. Actually "son of" when referring to a person in those times, really means, "of the nature of" like when you call someone a son of a *****, you are not really calling there mother a female dog, you just mean that they are bitchy. So, when Jesus called himself a "son of god" he meant that he as a person was of the nature of god, or god-like. In his defense when he was about to be stoned by people who were accusing him for blasphemy, he quoted a verse from psalms (old testament) "Have I not said, you are gods?" He goes on to say something to the extent of "why do you say that I blaspheme when I say that I am a son of god, when god said that you are all gods?"

God has many sons and daughters. They are the humans on earth and the angels in heaven. He only has one Begotten son though. The one who was tried and tested and reamined faithful to his father throughout his whole life. The one who died on the cross as payment for original sin. Without Jesus's sacrifice we would have no way of reaching Heaven. Jesus was God's first creation and with him he was able to create the angels and the earth, and every living thing on it.

God has many Sons and Daughters, but Jesus is God's first Son. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, then God gives us the power to become His Children, by giving us His Spirit.

We are all called his offspring in the bible but Jesus is God also and he was never created but just always existed just like God the Father. We were created and we have a beginning.

He only needed one Son who was willing to be the sacrifice for us. However, those of us who have asked Him into our hearts are considered the sons of God and joint heirs with Jesus.
