A lot depends on whether you have drivers ed, when you get a learners permit and when you start your provisional 6 mo. period. Min age 16 with restrictions and 18 without any.

Minimum Permit Age: 15 years
Minimum License Age: 16 years
Holding Period: 6 months
Road Test: Yes
Minimum amount of supervised driving: 50 hrs including 10 hrs at night
Unsupervised Driving Prohibitions: Under 18: Midnight - 5:00am
Passenger Rules: First 6 months; no one under 20 yrs old unless supervised by a 25 year-old driver
Other: Students enrolled in driver-ed can drive while supervised by an instructor. License applicants who do not complete driver-ed cannot receive their license until age 18. They are not required to go through an intermediate license stage.
