nobody realizes that we are just getting out of the last ice age... that Al Gore who is so woried about CO2 in our atmosphere wont ride commercial, but rather ride his private jet and pay "carbon taxes".... CO2 percentages havent risen much, Gore's graphs without a labeled and scaled y-axis exegerate the problem...of course the earth is warming up about half a degree...nothing to get too conjured up with...that infact the antartic ice shelves are actually getting larger and the number of polar bears increasing!!!! Why doesnt Al Gore say anything about that ?

I completely agree with you. Al Gore has made some points that are very weak. CO2 levels have increased a little but they have no relation to global warming. And the CO2 humans put into the atmosphere are nothing compared to the ocean which releases the most CO2. Humans make up 3% of the carbon dioxide in the air and there is about 0.03% CO2 in the air. hmmm, sounds like a big problem. There was a time after the second world war that more and more CO2 was released into the atmosphere but temperatures for some reason decreased. Carbon dioxide does not cause global warming. People are claiming that carbon dioxide traps heat in the atmosphere. That is wrong. CO2 aborbs black body radiation and Fingerprint radiation and turns it into heat. Surrounding oxygen and nitrogen molecules immediatly abosrb the heat but the molecules only go through ONE process of abosorption and emission. Propaganists say they go through MANY cycles, which cause heating in the atmopshere.

You are also right about Antarctica my friend. Antarctica is mysterious in that some parts are slowly melting but others are not.

Why do you anti-global warming people get your panties in such a bunch over every little thing Al gore does? Is it because you, being unable to refute the science, must resort to petty, vindictive ad hominem attacks? Or is it simply the fact that you are not aware that Al Gore's opinion is entirely irrelevant to anyone ever? Al Gore is not the leading expert on GW theory people, if you'd stop listening to Rush Limbaugh and learn to think for yourselves you would have realized this by now. As to your claims that we're 'coming out of the last ice age'. I don't suppose you have any evidence whatsoever that supports this claim, eh? Because, had you actually looked at some graphs tracking climate over the past 300 years (I assume you're referring to the LIA, which wasn't global anyway, making your entire point meaningless), you see quite clearly that we aren't doing anything of the sort.

I agree with you. I watched "An Inconvenient Truth" and all he talks about is how he should have been president and how everyone should feel bad for him like every Liberal does.

In the movie all of his graphs just shoot up at the end for no apparent reason. If you closely studied some you would realize how stupid they were put together. but a lot is influenced by mans existance ,and this is increasing with overpopulation,putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms

in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result

in china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert,

and all of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,not getting less ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were no desserts.

collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like,over grazing and fertilizers,


each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss

and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
who are overpumping deep carbon aquifiers
who are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,
because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary or over grazing

RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
this does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.but the melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.
