The point in living is that we were all born with a purpose in life, a destiny if you will. When you are looking at or living in suffering, try to self-reflect and look to what you can do, even many small things, to make your life and the world better and happier. You will be very surprised to learn how much more happiness there can be. I guess there has always been suffering and always will be, but we need to work through these times to get to where we need to be. Be well and feel good about yourself.

Because every life touches someone else life in a positive way. We all have a purpose. The suffering can help us understand how to help others. When we go through hard times it gives us the knowledge to help someone else going through their hard time.
There may be a lot of suffering in the world today, but there is far more happiness. Stop for one moment and look around you. A child who is starving will still smile when he sees his mother's face. That is happiness even through his suffering. Happiness is all around us and at times we have to look harder to find it.
Good may not always win the battle, but it will always come out a head after all is done.

Not sure what the point is, but I don't think there is more suffering than happiness. Maybe the point of being alive is searching for whatever makes you happy. And when you find it, someone comes along and takes it away from you. Oh, wait, never mind.

Why do you ask, do you feel this way? If so, please share with someone in your life, a friend, a parent, a doctor, etc. as that points to a defeatist, depressed attitude.
You know happiness is a CHOICE. You can choose to be happy and look beyond any temporary challenge in your life. There is a lot more joy in this world than suffering, you just need to slow down and realize it.
I hope this was a rhetorical question and if not, please share with someone you trust. When you share a concern it suddenly lessens it.

That's merely your perspective. While it's hard to accept and understand while young, i can assure you that everything that you experience is teaching you something you need to know in this lifetime.
Try to understand what the lesson is, as you're "suffering" through it. You might read *The Complete Idiot's Guide to Toltec Wisdom* to help you understand what being human is all about; something usually your parents don't know, and definitely not taught in school Good luck!! :))

We all have times of suffering in our lives. It is worth living because of all of the experiences, love and companionship and opportunities of what is ahead. Life is worth living and just think in hard times things will look up.
