Comfortable pajamas in a dark color . I made the mistake of packing light colored ones, needless to say they got ruined. Slippers or socks and a few pairs of underwear. If you get cold easy pack a robe that you can wear over the hospital gown to you can keep covered. Pack a book for after, if you like to read. Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hairbrush, razor, (if you can't go a day or two without shaving). The hospital provides toiletries, but I preferred to use my own. Toiletry pads, if you prefer to use your own, since the hospitals are like diapers, although you should use the hospital ones the first day. Clothes for the baby appropriate for the weather. Receiving blanket, diapers (just in case, but hospital usually gives those) Going home outfit for you as well, something comfortable like sweats and t-shirt. Nursing bra or supportive bra if you don't plan to nurse. Camera, camcorder, car seat for baby. Snacks for dad or for you for after delivery, although I just sent my husband to the local deli once I got hungry, I just couldn't bare the hospital food. I also took my own pillow, since I can't sleep on those thin hard ones the hospital gives, but be sure to put a colored pillowcase on it so it doesn't get mixed up with the hospital whites. I had my bag packed by the time I was 7 months, but any snacks can wait until last minute.

Camera with extra batteries (and film, or 1GB digital card)
socks
something to wear home (something that fit at 6 mo preg)
something for baby to wear home
carseat
toiletries
pillow (if you don't like "foreign" pillows)
Some hospitals have hospitality rooms where hubby can get drinks and snacks, but if yours only has a vending maching I'd pack a 12 pack of soda for him and a few snacks.

I packed my bag within the last week.
Socks
Comfy baggy pants
Your own pads cuz the hospital ones feel like diapers
nursing bra
breast pads
spare underwear
slippers
books to read if your bored
your birth plan (if you have one)
tolietries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo/conditioner,
deoderant)
coming home outfit for baby
some snacks for your support people

The bag can vary depending on your needs. Look up examples online. Congrats!!

The one thing I would add to the list is Thank You cards. That way you can get them done in your down time for the people that came to visit or even your baby shower gifts if you haven't done that yet!

I don't know if you have preferences to binkies or not (using one or not) but this time i am bringing my own kind since i don't like the ones the hospital uses and my son got "attached" to those. (i think they are called soothies, and are sort of hard to find) But that's up to you, and your little one may not even take one!

Pack light, the stay won't be long! Just a hint- I used Depends after I gave birth. They worked sooo much better than those bulky supersized sanitary pads. Congrats!

Shampoo
Body Wash
Slippers
Comfortable, loose fitting clothes
A sleeper outfit for the baby
A walkman to listen to during labor, it may relax you.
A pillow and blanket for your hubby, it could be a while.

- Anything else you want to make if more comfortable for you.
