apathetic to him that you leave church rather than embrasing the host for hours and hours?

BTW< I am aware of the practice among some religious orders of perpetual adoration. My question was about you, specifically, the Catholic; not about Catholics in general.

why would it be apathetic? i'm taking Him with me and trying to keep Him alive in my heart throughout the course of the time - until we meet in the Eucharist again.

I am not sure I understand what you are asking.

But no it does not show apathy that you leave the Church after communion it is a symbolism of taking him and his love out into the world. Jesus is suppose to live in us, in the world not just inside a Church building.

There are also people who do Eucharistic Adoration for hours and hours.

Already answered it shows we are following Jesus' message taken him out into the world with us.

first of it's Catholics. I'm Catholic, and we do believe it is the real body and blood of Christ. We also believe our churches are His house. Plus, its a symbolic meaning. and before you go talking like that, do some research.
