I have a thyroid disorder. Don't take ANYTHING over the counter without first reading the back of the bottle to see if it lists thyroid disorders as a "do not take if you have" . Your thyroid can make ANY medications cause a very bad reaction!

I bumped into a good online resource about hypothyroidism (a desease I'm trying to overcome myself).
Check it out here http://hypothyroidism.toptips.org

I have personally tested this method and I had great results.
Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the levels of thyroid hormones in the blood are increased and is characterised by a metabolic imbalance. The thyroid gland is a small endocrine gland located at the base of the neck. It produces thyroid hormone, which control various body functions. Hyperthyroidism or thyrotoxicosis results from excess quantities of thyroid hormone in the body.
With the metod that i posted above you can definitely get rid of hypothyroidism

My friend suffered for hypothyroid 2 years ago. she read a book on the internet which is useful for her disease. you can see the book at: http://treatment-hypothyroidism.keysolve.net
Hypothyroidism poses a special danger to newborns and infants. A lack of thyroid hormones in the system at an early age can result in cretinism (mental retardation) and dwarfism (stunted growth). Most infants now have their thyroid levels checked routinely soon after birth. If they are found to be hypothyroid, treatment begins immediately. In infants, as in adults, hypothyroidism can be due to these causes:

- A pituitary disorder
- A defective thyroid
- Complete lack of the gland

When in doubt regarding medicine - ask a pharmacist. Many are open 24 hrs and they know so much more about medicines than your doctor. A phone call will do.

That something you'd need to ask your doctor. Diet pills are never good for anyone anyway so I can just imagine what your doctor would tell you. I'd know, they killed my Aunt.
