I have to babysit my two sisters all the time! I'm 13 also, and I think that I should get about $2.50-$3 an hour for each kid. Do you think that's fair? I do!

Wow. I didn't think it was legal to have a 13 year old babysit. I thought they had to be at least 15 now. I only got $1.25/hr 18 years ago and I had to do all the housework and teach the kids Hebrew! Maybe I should go back into babysitting if the price has gone up that much. We live out in the sticks and most babysitters tell me they get about $2/hr/kid. I only pay $6/hr for all 3 of my kids. But people out this way don't make $15 an hour working!

Well I am 16 and have been baysitting sicne I was 12, I charge $8-9/hr depending on weekends or weekdays, and thats for only 2 kids at a time andymore kids then that I start charing an extra $2 per kid an hour. But when I was like 12 till i was about 14 I only charged $5/hr and only babysat 2 kids. So I would say $5-6/hr cause your younger and parents will look for older teenagers for the same price before looking at the younger ones. Cause the older the more experience.

standard rate for a 13 year old should be $2/hour/kid. if it is a regular job, like, 3-4 hours a day, 5 days a week, then the 13 year old is making $30-$40/week/kid, so i think that is pretty good for a weeks work. that's what i charged and i did perfectly fine on that.

It really depends on the age of the child and how long you are watching them for. If it is a baby, you can charge a little bit more because babies require more attention than a ten-year-old. For a baby, $7-$8 an hour is fair and for an older child, $6-$7.

Add Detail and tell us How long you are babysirring for. If its like for 2 hours then tell them you want $10. If this is your first time with the ppls child, then dont push for money. Because If they arent REALLY close to you, then they will not go to you anymore, they will find somebody that will charge less. Get It? Luv Ya. Hope This Helped!!

Try to charge a fair price depending on how much trouble the kid is.

Depends on how long and how much you are required to do, on the average I would say 5 bucks an hour.

If you are at the child's home and they are relatively well behaved, $5 and hour for the first 4 hours and $7 after that.
