Lay on your back with your hands by your side, keeping your legs straight raise your feet 6 inches off the floor and hold it as long as you can. repeat as necessary.

Unfortunately unless you burn the fat off first, you will never see the muscles you have or are developing. Spot reducing doesn't work and dieting is the key. I do think Pilates is one of the best and made the most difference for me. Also using a stability ball is great and they come with recommended exercises, really isolates your core.

Criss crosses will work wonders if performed at a slow, but not tedious pace. The whole opposite elbow to knee thing works all four layers of abdominal muscles as opposed to the single ((top)) layer that contracts as you do crunches. Good luck.

If you would like to exercise without any equipment, I reccommend following my plan.

To actually see your abs, you need to get rid of the fat on your stomach. To do that, do the following exercise all day:

get a Yoga ball and do sit-ups that way
