Some really straight and thick hair is really hard to curl except to get a perm (especially if you are Asian)

But you could try either braid it or twist it in a bun and sleep in it for several hours. Use pillow curler if it doesn't work.

First check out the link bellow. Then style as follows. (each time for the best looking style, wash hair first.)
1. Shampoo and Condition with products. After you wash your hair, comb out any tangles.
2. Then get the mousse, shake well, work through hair, use a "fingure" diffuser, and low hair dryer heat.
the key here is look but don't touch! Touching makes frizz!
3. On still wet, or dry hair, use the gel, scrunch and shape to lock wavys and curls in place. Blow dry on low heat with duffuser. For more defininition use your fingers and air dry.
4. Pick a good set up hairspray to finish the look (this step could be skipped)

But, you'll have to do this everytime you shower, unless you use a shower cap-- then you'll just have to "freshen" the look.

Hope this helps!!

Theres one product I think you should try (it works well when I use it) is Hot Sticks by Conair...they're easier than a curling iron and stay in place a lot longer. Also if it's possible try not to brush your hair because that ruins the curls.

The easiest way is to pull your hair into a tight bun after showering. Sleep with your hair in the bun, wet. In the morning, shake it out and blowdry on low with a diffuser if it is still wet. Finish with an aerosol silicone shine spray!

sorry but you can't. I mean, you can scrunch your hair with gel or mousse to get it to look wavy-ish. But you can't have ringlets if you have naturally straight hair without a perm or using a curling iron. sorry
