What do you do when one too many times, you do your best, leave the rest to god, and god does nothing, and all your morals and values only serve to make you an easier target, a more submissive victim for the cold cruel world to kick around? How do you judge those unlucky enough to have been completely ignored by the divine, who have absolutely no reason to believe in anything that isn't inarguably substantial? Why does God give some of his children a wealth of reasons to sing his praises and leave the rest to wallow in the nothingness of everyday human existence? Are the believers who know without a doubt that their god loves them, really his spoiled an pampered children, and the rest his neglected outcast children, the ones he never wanted?
P.S. "The age of unbelieving" is actually the title of a song that was cut from the disney movie "Bedknobs and Broomsticks"

some factors i intend to make, as properly to answering your question: on your opinion what motives atheism? -- undesirable philosophical perspectives. in case you think that there is not any God, then you certainly are all that concerns to you. certainty is to no longer be discovered. That finally ends up on your record, in spite of if I certainly have a concern with c) and a life in keeping with progression. there is no longer reason to look to progression, different than on the backs of others. i think of atheism is nearly a "white sin"... that's not something it is phenomenally risky... -- your very own conversion might desire to have informed you which you would be able to no longer acquire a treatment in case you do no longer understand the ailment interior of. Atheism isn't a "white sin." that's non secular dying. i'm shocked that as a Christian you're asserting that it isn't risky.

First, this statement supposes a God exists. And, it points out, if God does exist, he is unlogical and biased. However, this statement also points out a major flaw of believing. Nothing is fair, yet with god, it should be, as long as one believes. So, to believe is to set oneself up for self doubts and brutal examinations of ones life, for not only does the believer feel doubtful in his belief towards god, but he doubts his gods belief in him.

What you have to understand is everyone made the choice to come here for the experiences that we have with life.
And what you think maybe helping maybe hindering that experience
God knows what it is all about
That is why he gave us Free Will
And with that the experiences that follow
Action
Reaction
And then the
Consequences that follow
To interfere with that Free Will can cause Karma
Love & Blessings

I do not know exactly what you are looking for.
The only thing I can say to you is that faith and hope give your soul depth and meaning...If you pray to whoever you believe in and do your best every day,, you should not have any problem believing in the human race.
It sounds like you think that if you believe that just becuse you may pray your are owned something like riches and fortune. That doesn't work like that. Your work and monetary worth are unrelated to your faith, in money terms, but so very much tied to your own personal worth, to your soul and heart. And that is what it shows!

God gives us free will. We do what we want we can either try and work hard and do things for ourselves or we can sit down and expect everything to be handed to us. We are jealous of those who through hard work and dedication do well. Then when we are apathetic and lazy and no drive to be the best we can be, we sit around and blame God for our troubles. An old proverb says God helps those who help themselves.

I asked myself that exact same question many times before I finally accepted that there is no god. And it was very hard for me to come to that conclusion...but...life opened up and gave me every reason in the world to be the best person I can be...and I'm much happier for my non belief.

God does'nt ignore anyone, they ignore him. If someone is feeling neglected by God it is because they are refusing to see what God has to offer and not taking advantage of all of his greatness. Seek and ye shall find. God is love and if you ask and accept it he will pour out his blessings on you.

Adolecence. Your parents aren't there to drag you to church every Sunday. Many people tell stories like that at my church that they become innactive and then come back after a miraculuos sighn. God does do things. We just ignore them and it does NOT make him happy. Some people are gonna get spanked!
