It took me a few years to grow out my natural hair color from all the years of permanent salon colorings. Since I got my "virgin" hair back, I've been using dark brown henna to dye it but it washes out gradually in less than 2 weeks! I need something that lasts longer. All hair dyes I have seen in stores are permanent. Are there any special stores or brands that I should look into?

You can use L'Oreal's Color Pulse, it works pretty well in medium hued hair.

Not all hair color are permenant, in some brands, they have color levels, 1 is the least permanent, usually last 8-12 wash, 2 is semi-permanent, last 24 wash, 3 is permanent (which means it will never wash out)

Although level 1&2 color may not be as brilliant as level 3.

Just check the box carefully, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

ok herbal essances has a dye that works really well and stays in for about 6 weeks.

the only problem is the fact that they dont use peroxide, so the colour range is limited, but since uve been darkening ur hair i dont think it will be a problem

the box is small, so u may not have seen it when u went to the store, i found mine at longs drugs

Clairol makes many different brands.. even if they dont say "clairol" on the box. Go to Clairol.com, and they have a color/dye finder that you can use to find the perfect dye for you! Good luck
