Put a bag behind you and practice going outside the bag on the way and then come back inside the bag on your way down. Also make sure you are letting your hands drop then accelarating the club.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

I know it's a device, but you can find one cheap and the really do work. Look on ebay and try to find a thing called the inside approach. It forces to to not come outside in or over the top. This thing works. It was Golf Digest tool of the year for 2 years in a row. I bought a knock off on ebay for $30. Best money I've spent. Cured my slice, my wife's slice and a buddies. Try it all you have to lose is #40.

You can start with your initial takeback. Take the clubhead back by pivoting your shoulders around your neck while keeping your wrists straight. If you start cocking your wrists as your first motion the clubhead will start to come back inside the desired path.

What causes an outside in swing is the uncocking or casting of the wrists too early in the downswing. If you watch the pros, they don't start uncocking their wrists until their hands are below their waist. However, they have massive wrist strength, so average joes usually have to start earlier. The important things is to not make your first downward motion the uncocking of your wrists. The first motion you should make in your downswing is dropping your hands while maintaining a ****** wrist. Your arms should still be at a 90 degree angle with the clubhead until your hands are below your shoulders. Hopefully this will straighten your club head in the bottom of your swing.

Good luck.

Place a folded towel under your right armpit in a good golf swing, inside to outside the towel will not fall.

More info needed - outside-in is arguably what you want to be doing. It's the "over-the-top" or inside-out move that is usually the swing fault. More details and I'd be glad to help...

get a pool noodle and stick a older shaft through the noodle. then have a friend put the noodle in the ground and line it up with you neck and try to not hit the noodle.

Or at the range put a ball about a foot behind the ball your hitting and about 3 inches closer to you. then as you hit the ball try to knock the other ball out of the way. it will work.
