I do not know where I will go. I will continue to practice my faith, give reverence to my King, and bow and accept Him in the Eucharist, have confessions when I must. I will beg for the mercy of God throughout my life.

It is only within the Catholic church that salvation is found. No where else (Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus).

1) "There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved." (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)

2) "We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff." (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.)

3) "The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church." (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.)

There is no salvation outside of Christ, and the Catholic Church is the Bride of Christ -- become His Body, one Flesh in marriage. Therefore, there is no salvation outside of the Church and not belonging formally to the Catholic Church is objectively sinful. Please read: Matthew 18:17, Luke 10:16,
Mark 16:16, John 3:18, Luke 11:23.

This does not mean, however, that if one is necessarily damned if one is not a formal member of the visible society of God's Kingdom on earth -- the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. What it means is that: Christ founded one Church with Peter as His Vicar; that this Church was given the powers of binding and loosing, that this Church exists today; that it is the source of the Gospel and the earthly source of the Sacraments without which, normatively, one cannot be saved. Those who are not formal members might be saved and become associated with the soul of the Church if they:

A) are validly baptized by water and spirit, in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (all who are baptized are subject to the Church even if they are not members because Baptism belongs to the Church), and

B) have not committed a mortal sin (or who, if they have committed a mortal sin, have made a perfect act of contrition), and

C) are animated by charity and a supernatural Faith in God's existence, and seek Him, and

D) firmly believe that their religion is the true religion such that there is no conflict or doubt about such in their ill-formed conscience, and

E) are not formally outside of the Church in spite of doubts about the possibility that the Catholic Church is the true Church of Christ (if one believes it is possible that the Catholic Church is the true Church of Christ, one is duty-bound to investigate)

No one is saved who does not have supernatural faith, hope, and charity - this applies, to me as well.

We need to stop emphasizing that God can save anyone he wants - people interpret that as licence. While possibly true, we simply don't have any information on what God might do with them...

What we need to emphasize is what we do know. God has provided a sacramental economy, administered by his Church which is efficacious for the salvation of all men. No one's salvation is guaranteed, but if you are a baptized, practicing Catholic who recieves the sacraments of penance and the Holy Eucharist regularly then you are following the path created by God Himself for attaining salvation.

Stray from that path at your own risk.

if you are a practicing Catholic you will reap your rewards in heaven. if you are a submarine or cafeteria catholic then the option is less known.... for unless you have a true relationship and accept Jesus as your Saviour - then only God knows the outcome. you see many people profess to be catholic yet understand nothing of the realities that lie within - you must accept Jesus and enter into a relationship with Him.

It is impossible to give a universal statement on the salvation of all members of any denomination of Christianity. Not ALL Baptists are saved. Not ALL Presbyterians are saved. Not ALL Lutherans are saved. Salvation is determined by personal faith in Jesus alone for salvation, not by titles or denominational identification. Despite the unbiblical beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church, there are genuine believers who attend Roman Catholic churches. There are many Roman Catholics who have genuinely placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. However, these Catholic Christians are believers despite what the Catholic Church teaches, not because of what it teaches. To varying degrees, the Catholic Church teaches from the Bible and points people to Jesus Christ as the Savior. As a result, people are sometimes saved in Catholic churches. The Bible has an impact whenever it is proclaimed (Isaiah 55:11). Catholic Christians remain in the Catholic Church out of ignorance of what the Catholic Church truly stands for, out of family tradition and peer pressure, or out of a desire to reach other Catholics for Christ.

At the same time, the Catholic Church also leads many people away from a genuine faith relationship with Christ. The unbiblical beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church have often given the enemies of Christ opportunity to blaspheme. The Roman Catholic Church is not the church that Jesus Christ established. It is not a church that is based on the teachings of the Apostles (as described in the Book of Acts and the New Testament epistles). While Jesus’ words in Mark 7:9 were directed towards the Pharisees, they accurately describe the Roman Catholic Church, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!”

Hopefully, I will go to Heaven.

It all depends as to whether or not I die in a state of Grace, & if the Blessed Virgin Mary prays for me to her Son, Who Is our Lord & Saviour.

Saved is saved. As long as any Christian is saved, they go to Heaven, and if you're not saved, you go to Hell. Good works don't get you into Heaven, being a good person is nice, but its your relationship w/Jesus that gives you the free one way ticket to Heaven.

Depends on whether you were a good person or not.

The Catholic Church says all good people go to heaven, not just us. And just because we are Catholic doesn't mean we will go to heaven.

When you die you don't go, you stop.

That scares some people so much they make up stories about a magic fairy granting people eternal life.

We call these stories 'religion'.
