We moved into our new place about 3 months ago, so I don't think this is the reason, but about 3 weeks ago she started this new thing. We will do the normal bedtime routine bath, brush hair and teeth and then bed time. She walks to her bed and lies down. Every night about 5 minutes after we lay her down she will get out of bed and kick the door, or sometimes yell MOMMY DADDY or will bring ALL of her toys to the door and play. Even though it is dark in her room! We will put her back in her bed EVERYTIME she does this but sometimes after the 15th or so time(literally) will just ignore her and she will fall asleep at the door. Anyone encounter this before.
Thanks I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions.

you have to be consistent and not give up. tell her its not time to play and take her back to her room. if this just started 3 weeks ago then dont wait longer and take her to her room, maybe rub her back, put a lil music if she is into that ..or sit next to her a while...whatever makes her fall asleep calmly. its good you ignore her ,but falling asleep in the door is not good. if you think she been eating too much preservatives etc... then cut down on it.

best of luck! i know its hard to keep a kid in his bed. mines is 4 and never has slept in his bed.

I did and it was weird when my doctor said my daughter was eating too many preservatives and that it gave her energy. Try cutting back on some of those and she wont have all that energy at night and try ignoring her the first time and just tell her that she has to stay in her room but she can stay up all night if she wants then wake her up at the same time the next morning and she will be tired and will go to bed early the next night. It might take a few times to do it but it works on all ages.
