The Sacred Heart Diet is really good for losing weight, it's healthy too since it was created by doctors for patients needing to lose weight quickly for heart surgery and such which is where it got it's name as well. It's very good diet you don't need to starve and you will lose about 10 or so pounds in the first week. If you want to focus the weight loss in certain areas do an aerobic exercise for at least 30 minutes 3 days out of the week, and on your off days do toning exercises for the target areas, since the diet along with the aerobics will promote weight loss all over and the toning will heighten the weight loss of the target area. I find that for your abs you should try the ball they are really effective workouts that really tone the abs and obliques ( love handles) The best one is Core Secrets the Ab Assault it is like 22 minutes of all different kinds of ab toners. For your legs I recommend a Turbo jam workout or you can get the Core Secrets Bun Battle which works the butt, thighs and calves, your legs will be very wobbly after the first time you do it and the next day they will be sore, but it really tones very well, this like the ab assault focuses only on multiple ways to challenge and tone the bottom half of your body. If you can't afford to buy these workouts and the ball if you have Comcast On Demand hit the on demand button scroll down and to the left to SPORTS AND FITNESS hit select , then scroll down to exercise TV hit select and they have different categories of exercises you can do, cardio, abs, dance, pilates, etc. Then you select which category and they have mulitple different workouts you can do and it's free!!! If you do want to do the ball you can get a good exercise ball from Wal-Mart for like 10 bucks and it comes with an inflation tool. For the Sacred Heart Diet follow this link: http://recipecircus.com/recipes/Stella/DIETS/Sacred_Heart_Diet.html
For more information on the Core Secrets exercise program go to http://www.coresecrets.com I believe you can also have a free 30 day trial through the website. Well Good luck and I hope that helped!!

The best overall thing you can do it go walking. That works all your body parts. It might not necessarily focus on one body part, but as a whole, you can lose a significant amount of weight if you walk and also eat right. Cut out sugar and flour. Any kind of white food is not good for you. Including white bread. If you cut out the sugar you will be amazed right there how much better you'll feel and how much the weight will melt off and that includes sugary, regular colas.

I totally agree with CG. But also drink lots of water and do NOT try the cabbage diet unless you plan on being on the toilet for the whole time! Self experiance! I've lost 7 pounds in a month and a half doing what CG said. Oh and portion size really makes a difference!!

First of all, let's deal with food and nutrition:
1. Drink lots of water. It flushes salt from your body. Also, it may make you less hungry (Dehydration makes you feel hungry. "If you're thirsty, you're dehydrated," says my brother.).
2. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. May I suggest temporary vegetarianism? You lose a lot of weight on a vegetarian diet.
3. Eat when you're hungry. Stop when you're full. It supposedly takes 20 minutes to feel full, so don't eat too fast. (Eating too fast can also make you swallow air and feel bloated).
4. Stay away from fad diets (i.e. South Beach, Cabbage diet, etc.). They may make you lose weight, but they make your body dissolve your muscles for proper nutrients.
5. Stay away from sugar...it stores fat. Oh...and greasy/salty fries, potato chips, etc.
Now, as for the exercising:
1. Try to do at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity (stuff that makes your heart pump quickly) each day. An hour is best, but 30 minutes will work. Burn calories to burn fat. Try running, biking, dancing, playing tennis, playing soccer, or even jumping jacks.
2. To tone your abs (stomach muscles), try crunches or the following exercise. Lie on your back and put your hands under your bottom for support. Lift your legs six inches off the ground and hold for as long as possible. That should make your stomach feel the way crunches make your stomach feel.
3. To tone your legs, try leaning in a sitting position with your back against a wall. Your legs should create a 90 degree angle. This should be felt in your calves and thighs.
4. To tone your hips, lie on the floor with your legs up in the air and hands to your sides for support. Move one leg as far to the ground as possible (right leg to the right, left leg to the left). You should feel that around your hips.
Hope that helps. Good luck.

fast. fasting cleanses the body. Drink only slimfast three times a day and lots of water. I did this and lost over 20lbs in two months with a lite exercise routine of just a 1 hour daily walk.
Good Luck!

if you listen to this, you WILL loose weight!!!
1. NO JUNK WHATSOEVER
2. eat a balanced diet, plenty of fruit n vege, low fat milk and cheese, meat, FISH, (have carbs they aer good for you!)
3. drink plenty of water
4. go for a walk every day. keep increasing the distance as you get fitter. try jogging when you are fit
5. NO COFFEE or soft drinks, drink tea ( green tea is really good)
6. write a list of goals that you want to acheive and tick them off as you do so
loosing weight requires alot of determination. if you REALLY are serious about it, then i know you can do it
DONT follow fad diets or avoid any foods except junk. also, watch out for 'fat free' or 'low fat' snacks, they usually have a tonne of sugar, which gets converted to fat!
GOOD LUCK!!!
U CAN DO IT!!!!!
