Just till u get over it. Otherwise, if ur purposely staying mad, ur being manipulative..playing judge n jury. Not nice.

It depends on what they did. It is not good, or healthy to hold a grudge for a long time. My mom is a horribly bitter person because she has a hard time forgiving people. She has been mad at some people for over 30 years ( and some of them are dead now). If they did something to physically hurt you, your child or someone else in your family, I would find it hard to forgive them, but it is not good to stay angry.

That is a huge question. I think it depends on how bad the situation was and who the person was in relationship to you. Sometimes, getting mad at your brother, sister, best friend or even your parents are easier to get over than someone you are in a relationship with and are in love with. Deal with your feelings in a mature way and see how you feel towards that person, if you are still hurt by their actions, just give yourself time to get over it. If you can't, maybe that signal is telling you something you haven't realized before???

5 minutes. Tops. Otherwise, you just showed them how much they got to you. See? So...don't give them the satisfaction.
There is another viewpoint here. What if they didn't mean to cause you so much grief. People make mistakes. Try to forgive now and then. Not only will you feel better for it, you might allow someone you really like to rise above a bad situation too. Peace.

Totally depends on what they did. You can't just switch your anger off like a light. You'll stay mad until you're done being mad, period. Hopefully you can forgive sooner than later, because it's like poison.

I think being mad at someone hurts you as much as it hurts the other person. So get over things as quick as you can and bounce back. Be careful not to be a doormat in the process.

Not a moment longer than is necessary to hear their side. After the explanation, you must decide if you want the person to continue to be in your life. The explanation, not anger should be the reason for exclusion.

Until said person proves he or she is worthy of your attention again. If he or she did somthing a little bad, give a little while. The bigger the problem, the more time. You'll know when the time is right. Also make it a point to never let it happen again, let the person know what got you so POed in the first place.
