im just wondering b/c im 5'8 and i don't think that im really that tall but a lot of guys say i am and it makes them feel bad about themselves???? and also some won't even date me just because of that reason! so are those guys just insecure with their masculinity? i have a friend who's 5'10 and she has this problem too.

Myself I have no problem with it, but i know some guys that do.. they feel funny if the girl is thier hight or taller because in heels they look even shorter next to them, myself i call it vain, is usually self centered or self consious men that have that "problem" most likely not a good guy to get hooked up with either

Im 5'10" and I feel more akward than the men do. It doesn' t really seem to matter to them...but unless they are a least an inch or two taller than me it feels odd.
I wouldn't not date a shorter guy...but initally I am attracted to taller ones. It shouldn't make a guy feel bad about themselves any more than I feel bad about being tall.
I think you are talking about "short man complex" and yes some men have that (but only a few in my experience)...they are usually butt heads about it. But you know....you can't fix stupid. Let them wallow in their self pity while you will be looking at their bald spot in 10 years.

Yes, especially in high school (I should know, I'm basically 6 feet tall). Guys grow up as they get older and height isn't a big deal to them anymore. I've dated guys shorter, taller, and the same height as me since high school.

You're tall, but not too tall. I'm guessing you're still in school. So, not everyone's had their growth spurts yet. Don't worry, the guys will catch up in the next couple of years.

I think so that's why i chose a Guy that was taller than me, but guys are intimated because they think they have to be the dominant one so, they see a tall girl ( yourself) they get Italianated cuz they think that they are weak!

Im 5'11 and wouldnt like to date a girl taller than me. I think its more of guys not liking their girl to be taller than them.

As long as you're not 7'5", then you're fine. Perfect height for me, I'm 6'5".
