okay.. i had this bf for about 8 months. we became very very close and fell in love very quickly. he is addicted to drugs and could never pass his drug tests so he couldnt stay out of jail for 3, 5, and 10 days probably once a month about. i cheated on him whenever he went to jail ( which i was always honest with him about ). We never broke up the whole time we were together. We could have the best time just laying in bed talking and laughing. It was great. Then he finally messed up very back and got sent to jail for about eight months. Hes not out yet. hes been in for about 5 months and will probably be out in the next few months. At first i didnt ever think about him and dated alot of other boys. Recently i have been thinking about him all day everyday. My dad also knows everything that he has done and he never wants me to talk to him again.. me and my dad are very close and i take his advice to heart mostly always.

I don't think you should waste your time with him. but if you love him re-evaluate your relationship. If you know he could change for the better tell him you'll be there for him while he goes through his changes but if he doesnt want to change you cant make him. Like i said if you love him stop cheating and be wit him through thick and thin just because he has a drug problem doesnt mean hell never change. but don't put him down, tell him its not his drug use if it isnt and say that I just want to be with you and don't want to see you be locked up. if he doesnt respect what you say then just say I just say I deserve better, also your dad is right and maybe you can make an agreement with your dad. tell him u wanna give this guy a chance to change and if he doesnt I will leave him just please don't lie to your dad about anything he just wants to see whats best for you and see you with someone who will treat you right.

If your boy friend is addicted to drugs its probably not good for you to be arond him. When people become addicted to drugs the people closest to them get pulled in o their problems. Also you'll never know when or how he's going to feel if he's just had his drugs. Even though you may love him you need to think of yourself. Yur father is only trying to protect you so help your father help you. I would break it off.

Tell this guy that if he wants to be with you, he needs to clean up his act. How can he be a loving, supportive boyfriend if he's always in and out of jail?

Maybe you should love him like nobody's loved him before I don't mean sex just be there for him and don't cheat on him, because he needs a reason to stay off drugs, and sometimes it'd be good if he knew you we'ren't cheating on him

he'll probably always be a loser you should move on and find a good guy at least you'll learn to be faithful and he won't end up in the pen

Most likely he will always have addiction problems.....Move on.....find someone responsible and financially stable.
