My hair is thick and not straight and not wavy. What other hairstyles could i do besides just staightening it?

I had the exact same problem a couple of months ago, but now i'm full of ideas, i think you need to browse the web, look at different hairstyles, even if they're not suited for your hair, you can always alter them, my favourites are either straight or curly with half in a pony tail, that way you can show of your length, s well as keeping it tamed, or french plaits-look gorgeous with thick hair, on mine the front tends to stick out, but you can always hide that with bands, messy bun, or even as others have suggested, a long straight ponytail always looks elegant.

Go to Ouidad.com to get the best ideas and tricks for all levels of curly/wavy/poofy hair...trust me I've had it all...my nickname used to be Moppy because my friend Pete said that he wanted to flip me upside down and mop the floor with my hair...

if you don't like you hair long and have been growing it out for years, it looks really good if you curl it into ringlets, and it makes it look shorter! good luck!
