I also bring healthy lunches to school :) Usually I bring a turkey and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce, an apple or some other type of fruit, a snack like chips or wheat thins, and a bottle of water. You can also bring baby carrots.

Hi Shorty.
You are feeding your body the worst kind of food (junk-food). You will feel much better if you give your body the kind of food it was meant to digest.
I would suggest a salad made from organic vegetables (lettuce, tomato, capsicum, olives, cucumber, snow peas) and add in a sliced boiled egg and also a small can of salmon.
Eat a healthy lunch most days, and only occasionally have a bit of junk food. This is what I do.
You should try to avoid eating so many carbs and processed food. Eat natural stuff. Try to avoid packaged foods that has lots of numbers in the list of ingredients.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
PB

Tortilla wraps are great ways to throw together whatever you've got in the fridge. Shredded cheese, meat, any veggies at all, and some low-fat dressing added right before you eat it.
You probably don't have access to a microwave but I bring brown rice and raisins with some Brummel and Brown margarine for lunch. Extremely filling. We used to eat it as breakfast as kids - only with butter.
Hey - how about some cereal? Quaker Oat Squares are awesome.

Yeah, I used to be in this slump too. Everyone I know was in it at one point. Try putting in fruits, sandwiches, and flavored water in your lunch. It tastes good once you find the fruit/sandwich/flavored water brand for you. When (if) that gets boring, try getting creative when recepies or food you've heard of. Also, don't bring a Lunchable every day for awhile. Been there, doon that, not doing it again.

Try mixing it up a little! If you can bring stuff to put in the microwave. If you cant, try getting something the night before heat it up andput it in one of those nice mini thermoses made just to bring thing hot for lunch in that will really shake up your lunch and it keeps it hot all day if you get the right one!

You could make a salad before school and put it in your lunch. With some water, carrots and ranch, and those 100 calorie packs of chips ahoy. My mom would get a thermos and make me rice in my lunch but now I buy. I was in the fifth grade when she did that ;).

You could also try apples, bananas, cubed cheese, cheese and your favorite crackers, grapes, yogurt, pudding, different juice boxes, raw carrots with ranch dressing.Celery or apple slices or pretzels with peanutbutter. Granola bars.Make yourself a salad the night before and put everything in layers so it doen`t get soggy, put dressing in different container, add at lunchtime. Hardboiled egg. Tuna or egg-salad sandwich. Fruit salad with yogurt dip. Those little pre-made cups of fruit, jello or pudding and my kids favorite :cheez-its to dunk in applesauce( sounds gross but they love it) they also like to dunk teddy grahams in their own can of frosting(not exactly healthy) You could also fill little zip top sandwich bags with your favorite cereal to snack on.

Try vegetables and fruit since they are really healthy for you. Have a sandwich with vegetables instead of chips next time.
