I don't want to hate my ex but I can't seem to forgive him for all the things he did to me. Its tiring to hate someone. What should I do?

He pushed me before, left me crying alone in public twice, insults me when he's angry, quarrelled with my on my 21st birthday and didn't celebrate with me, calling me 'stupid and unreasonable' when I expected him to be at my aunt's funeral, wasn't there for me when i needed him for emotional support, breaking up with me via a text message just before v-day.

i'm no longer with him but I just want to put a closure. I don't carry a burden in my heart and continue hating him.

I would forgive him, then move on! He does not treat you respectfully so even though you probably love him, he isn't a good person for you. Let him know you love him and forgive him, but you love yourself more and need something else in a relationship. And I wouldn't let him talk his way back into your heart - you need to find someone who isn't bothered giving you what you need.

No, honestly I couldn't. In fact it would be pretty hard to be forgiving when a person does all that stuff, and he has problems, you can bet!

You can give him a chance to explain his behavior and tell him you don't like the way he treated you and see what he has to say about it, OR, be through with him and don't talk to him again!

Personally though, everyone deserves a chance to be heard and if what they say isn't presentable, you can end the friendship and meet some new friends!

Best of luck to you!

Why in the hell would you want to forgive a guy who treats you like crap? Look at all of the things you listed. You know he doesn't treat you well so why stay with him. Leave his *** and find someone who will be there for you when you need him. There are better guys out there.

I dont think you can forgive a person after going through that but you can move on. I dont think no jerk deserves to be forgiven for that. I am not asking you to hate him but move on. Dont let him back into ur life because he will hurt you more. Try to move on I know its not easy but in the lomng run you will look back to it and laugh. Start dating and meeting other guys.

What are you gonna do? He already broke up with you. Stop harrassing him. You do sound like an emotional baggage. I would leave you long before this complaining. Who has time for all this bitchin?

thats so sad!
"kill him with kindness"
be really nice to him and maybe he'll realize that he should treat you nicely and with respect
