Odds are you're never going to look at your assignments for the day, get a big Leave it to Beaver grin on your face and say, "Great, I get to do all this crap today!" It's more tempting to go on Myspace or blow stuff off, but the only way to get it done is to do it.
That's the main thing, actually. If you do your work on the computer, just don't open up Myspace. Not for two minutes, not to add just one comment, not to check out your friend's profile. It will all be there when you get back. Then get cracking.
I can tell you this from experience: If you just get all your crap done, completely done, you not only get the entire day completely free, but your parents trust you more and you get even more leeway.
I'm homeschooled but my best friend goes to school. On weekends, our hangout time is always broken up by her mom poking her head in and reminded my friend that she hasn't done her homework yet. When we're on GTalk she's always breaking off talking to do bits of her homework, or when we're playing CoD online, and so on. It's a lot less fun in the long run than what I do: Wake up, eat breakfast, just get it over with, and then blow off the rest of the day.
So to sum it up:
Just getting it done means that you get to spend most of the day on Myspace and your parents will trust you more. If you just get it done, you can spend more time on Myspace and more time having fun.

Simple: time allocation. Schedule your day so that you do your lessons,8-11AM, lunch 11-1PM then do studies, homework and other assignments from 1-4. Add some outsdie activities, sports, meetings or community work. This will help you to focus away form the "internet" and into the "real" world and people. Give yourself a set hours or day when you will go on myspace, for example, between 7-8PM you will do all your emails or internert work. The rest of the day you will be away from the internet.
A great side-effect is that you will get to meet real friends, you will be healthier, in better shape, have a broader mind and your grades will improve too!
Remember the time you put in now will be for you and noone else. If you don't have a goal you will simply not get "there".
What do you want to become? How will you succeed in achieving this goal? Do you trust yourself to get there? It is now time for you to choose!

Lots of sweet. Primarily gummy worms (the bitter form.) And I midway reside off of sugar and power beverages, despite the fact that I'm unusually mellow. Plus, a few heavy, indignant-sounding track under no circumstances harm while I get creator's block (however no longer at all times.) Music is a ought to. And studying plenty, too. On a extra critical observe, an summary, is the exceptional factor you would do. That means you'll write approximately the side that you are so much serious about at that second, and also you honestly are not able to wait to write down. Then if you get the entire well ingredients you're keen on performed, you simply pass and fill within the blanks. Viola! You've completed a tale! But what rather continues me relocating are my characters. I surely love them, and believe that they ought to inform their tale (name me loopy.) They're the foremost motive that I even write. If I do not write, I believe simply as responsible as though I'd permit a truly character down, if no longer extra. I do it for them.

Just do it!!!! Turn OFF the computer. It is addictive and you realize that. It is not worth it. Nothing good is going to come out of sitting at the computer all day checking it. (I know - I am getting into the same rutt). Turn the computer on only when you have something specific to look up or a question you need an answer for. Good luck!
What are you waiting for? I see you! Turn the darn thing off and go do something constructive! Also sit up straight and smile!!!

Identify your long-term goals. Figure out what you need to do to reach those goals, including what you need to have done by the end of the year, month, week.
Create a plan for yourself to work each day on reaching those goals. Plan in specifically when you're allowing yourself to go on myspace. Write in big red letters on your plan:
BY CHOOSING TO FOLLOW THIS PLAN, I'M CHOOSING TO SUCCEED AT REACHING MY GOALS.
IF I CHOOSE TO IGNORE THIS PLAN, I'M CHOOSING TO FAIL.
Keep that in mind every time you are tempted to go on myspace or just relax. Understand that you won't necessarily go to your work with a wonderful "Oh goody, I'm doing work" feeling. That part of your desire to sit around on myspace or just relax is to avoid the negative feelings you have about your work. Stay focused on what you want, acknowledge what you feel, but do what you need to anyhow to have success.

Set goals in your life. If you don't have any goals, then you won't try hard at studying. Everyone is capable of being someone great. You just have to push yourself. Believe me, you don't want to 45 years old working at a McDonalds when you get old.
