Good morning, love. Getting cold feet?
Well lets see, every spring I have a quest to be the first mountianbiker to ride this local trail all the way to the lake. So on Wednesday I drove to the trailhead and got ready even though I new there would be mud, water and snow drifts. Mountainbike shoes are made of a open mesh design so I wear booties to keep my feet warm. It was tough riding over snow drifts but I made it to the lake, turned around and headed back the problem was that the snow had warmed up and I could no longer peddle over it so I had to get off and push. After an hour of this my feet were freezing, I looked down and my booties had filled with snow surounding my feet. I had no choice but to remove the booties and hope I didn't end up with frost bite. After few more hours I made it back to my vehical with frozen feets.
So the moral is ....uh I think I forgot where this was heading....What cold feet really means is that its time to take off your booties...?
