What does a TV have to do with it except for monitoring? You just hook one VCR to the other, put the master in the first one and a blank in the second. Turn the second one on, in record mode, and hit play on the first one. If you want to see what is being played by the first one just turn the TV on and put it on ch 3 or 4. You can not see what has been recorded on the second one unless you pause both, rewind #2 and play back what it recorded. You can then put it back in record and take #1 out of pause and go back to recording.
The hook-up is strate forward, hook the signal source (ant, cable, or what ever) to the ant in (or via a two set splitter to both VCR's) jack on the #1 VCR. Hook the #1 VCR ant out to the TV ant in (again option of using another splitter) and the audio/vidio out from #1 to the a/v in jacks on VCR#2.

This hookup lets you record 2 shows while watching a third at the same time!!!
