If you keep using Proactiv, and then use Biore or St. Ives at the same time, it can have a negative effect. Too much cleaning can make it worse.

Yes you can do that just be careful not to overwork your skin. Do not use them every day. Proactiv has some small particles in the facial wash, but not as big as st ives. I would use the other products 1-2 times a week.

I use the Proactiv system in the morning in addition to using the St. Ives Apricot scrub(for all skin types version) in the shower. At night I wash my face with the Aveeno Foaming Face Wash and finish with the toner and repairing lotion. It works great for my skin. It shouldnt be a problem but if it doesnt work make sure its not around the your period or any other hormone fluxuation that could also cause a breakout.

Black head strips and things of that nature are fine to use. Or acne spot treatments of different brands. But, I wouldn't use other facial scrubs or toners.... too many different chemicals could be bad for a sensitive face.

yes. i use proactiv also and if you use other facial products while you are using it then you can't see if it is truly working it's best and if doesn't work for you then you will be wasting all that money on it. it could also interfere with the strong chemicals that are in the proactiv. my best advice is DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if this helps but Macgrl80 is right -the crushed nuts in that scrub are really bad for you...Try Clinique's scrub...It is a perfectly round man-made bead that won't scratch your skin-only polish it...

i'm an esthetician and while we were in school our instructor told us that the apricot scrub was basically like taking crushed glass and rubbing on your face, if you looked at your skin under a microscope it would look like it had been cut up. if you have acne and are using proavtiv you really shouldn't be using scrubs anyway.

you should be able to use different brands , but don't use them to close together as the chemicals might react and affect your skin.

U should just stick to 1 product if u use too many products in 1 time it will damage your skin.
