TORONTO (CP) - Rat poison has been found in pet food that sparked a massive recall and sent a scare through tens of thousands of pet owners across North America, but scientists said Friday they still don't know how it got there.

i are in england and just read about it who ever as done this wants hanging there are some bad buggers in this world i are so sorry about all those poor animals .my thoughts are with all of you who have lost your pets.

We very much appreciate your concern. I have a sweet baby shih tzu on IV's in the vet. hospital and she will probably not make it. I would love to find the person responsible and feed them some rat poison. Thank you very much for your post.

No I hadn't heard .That is awful,I have pets of my own and can only imagine what you are all going through I just hope that whoever is responsible is caught and your pets are ok.
To all you small minded people who show your dis-concern just grow up and keep your nasty comments to yourself,I know we are not all animal lovers but to be so mocking at other peoples pain shows how ignorant you are.Shame on you!

HI thanks for the posting. We are very much aware of this horrible thing. so many dogs and cats are either sick or dieing. It is so very sad for us here. We are all very afraid because they continue to add more foods to the list. It is now up to 95 differents kinds of bad food.
