Bittorrent is the best way to download music and other things with less risk of getting viruses, also this is the fastest filesharing system. all you need to do is download a bittorrent client like azureus, then go to various websites to find the torrents you want.

There are other sites but I would not recommend them. To my knowledge, limewire is best as far as being bundled with adware.
