As many people Latin America people that are living here illegally they ought to be sending us a monthly check to cover the expenses of their people here.That is 250 billion that will never be seen again.

About the same amount the US has spent on a stupid war.
Anyway, I don't think Latin America should pay it back.
The reason?
They produce all they nice drugs you guys take in the comfort of your homes. People are dying down there to do that. Terrorism is alive and well down there because of the drug trade.
All this is done so that Americans can go down to the corner and buy a 'fix'.

Latin America is supposed to pay what they owe but usually the payments are requested to be deferred.

this is one more reason to stop giving foreign aid. no person in their right mind would loan money to someone that wouldn't pay it back, so why does our government? to make it worse, they give it to regimes that are openly hateful to the US. why not put that money back into our own country? FTW, because they sure hate us.
