any steps, such as cleaning registry i should be careful doing? also is this program easy for novice to do? and finally is c cleaner a reputible company to deal with? thanks bigtownee!

ccleaner is a good cleaner. it's recommended by Cnet, which knows almost everything about anything electronic!
if you're worried about cleaning your registry, run the cleaner, and then after it's done click the fix button. it will ask if you want to back it up, click yes. that way if something does happen, you can restore the registry.

I use it all the time, do registry cleanups about 3 times a day and it has NEVER done anything bad to my computer. It's great.

I use it and believe me, I'm not really computer savvy. I've used it for the past couple years and it's never caused a problem. Just follow the directions. Good luck!

ccleaner is a gud software to deal with nd if ur afraid of any damage, u may use da windows's system restore option before runnin ccleaner which'll undo all da harmful changes, if any. also da software has da back-up option of registry too.
