Are ceramic ones better? I need one that is cheep, but not cheeply made, help? Do they damage your hair, what do you do to prevent it. Oh yea my hair is pretty straight when blowed dry, but its thick and frizzy and the shampoos and conditioners that help stop frizzyness don't work for me. Are Wet to dry ones better?

Wet and dry ones sometimes damage more people's hair. A ceramic straightener are the best!! Get a Sedu, GHD, or a Paul Mitchell straightener they cost $90-200. For your frizziness get Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control shampoo and conditioner, and Extra Strength Frizz Control serum.

Ceramic ones really are the best. They actually make your hair feel nicer than before. Its hard to find them extremely cheap. I got mine for about 85 dollars. Its a Solia and I bought it from Folia.com (great site!). Really though, its worth the investment. In terms of frizziness, try an anti frizz cream. I like Garnier's smoothing milk. It smells amazing too. Neutrogena's new triple moisture products are pretty good and reseaonably priced as they are salon quality. By the way, always straighten hair when dry and make sure you use a heat protection product such as Nexxuss Heat Protexx or Got2B Crazy Sleek before hand. Good luck!

ghd best on the market in ceramic hair straightners, wet to dry more time consuming and really does dry the hair out more ( meaing stripping hair of moisture)

chi- i have one and it takes about i say 10-20 seconds to get hot and it gets so hot that if you leave it on your hair long enough you can see steam come off so you straighten your hair very fast. but they usually run from 90-120 dollars. but they are soo worth it.
