I want to learn a language that can be understood in almost every region of the middle east, like Mandarin is on Asia.

Arabic would be spoken by many people as it is the language of Islam as well as being the first language of many Middle eastern states. Farsi (Persian) or Turkish would also serve you well.

There are lots of Arabs.
But then there are lots of Persians.
But then there are lots of Turkish people.
But then there are ...

Mandarin is used for China and NOT Asia.
Most of middle east is in Asia!
Middle east is not a country! So there are different languages.

Arabic will be spoken by and understood by most people. I suggest the Egyptian dialect, because it is the dialect used in most television programs and soap opera type shows that are watched throughout the region, and will be understood by the largest number of poeple.
