I'm moving to the beach VERY soon and planning to start a shaved ice/ice cream novelty and chips and drinks concession stand. I have no idea where to get the ice cream from in bulk though?

Contact other restaurants in the area to see who their food suppliers are. Call at least 10 to see who are the most popular and reliable. Ask for lists w/ prices or a web site w/ price listings from the suppliers so you can compare prices. They should also have the paper products you need, it is best to limit the amount of your suppliers. Good luck! L

Do you have a "Sams Club" nearby, or "Cosco" store where everything you purchase is in bulk. Usually you have to pay a $50.00 fee for a membership for the year, but it's well worth it. Depending where you're living..you may find also a "Price Club" shop. Any one of those would be a good place or call up the ice cream manufacturer and ask if you can set up a business account with them, to purchase their products.
