Microsoft word has a columns feature. For a brochure, you must understand how to work with section breaks and columns breaks.

The section breaks divide the paper into different sections Each section can have a different number of columns which might be handy for a continuous top and/or bottom of your form.

You can make your page print sideways (landscape) by choosing Format > Page and going to the Paper Source tab.

There are lots of tricks to using Microsoft Word, but if you check help on the following topics, this should be a good start:

Landscape
Sections
Column Breaks

It is much easier if you have Microsoft Publisher. There are many brochures to choose from on there.
