well u answered ur own question. ur stressed. i just started at an ausssie high school (im 12) and last year i was really stressed and i didnt know why. every year so far at school i've finished top of my class with a 98 percentage or more. last yr in my last year of primary i got really stresse like i sed earlier and it was so bad. i went from a 99% to 65%.
Ok so to defeat this.
u sed ur parents were stressin u out coz they want you to study. answer: study, my rents were exactly like that once i hit a 97% and i just kept ignoring their advice until my grade dropped so bad that i was lucky to get it back. think about it: u study, they wont bug you and u get to keep the cable.
Your friends: dont worry about your friends just forget that u need to work on ur grade and just study. it wont hurt u. this doesnt mean that you cant hav fun, just that u have to focus that bit more on eduacation.
Trust me, this works i went from 65% to 99.8%.
You obviously hav the ability in you. your just too stressed to bring it out properly. Good Luck

Accept the fact that elementary school has a lot easier concepts to learn. You might want to study in a place without a bunch of distractions. And if you can't sit still while doing homework, do it standing up. And make sure you have incentives for studying other than getting good grades in school, it's not always the most motivating of incentives. When you get home from school, don't allow yourself to have a snack before you get your homework done, or until you have studied a bit. It's hard transitioning to not having to study because you don't have to, to having to study because otherwise you'll fail (w/ B's and A-'s of course). I went through the same thing. It doesn't really matter too much what high school you go to when it comes to college either, so I wouldn't worry about getting into a good one. Which means, don't worry about middle school grades too much. As long as you're not held back, they're quite useless. And tell you're parents to lay off. Colleges don't look at middle school transcripts.

stop. close your eyes. breathe deeply.
my parents are perfectionists, and therefore, i grew up in the same boat as you. i felt like there was a HUGE force of pressure on me to be PERFECT. i always set myself up for failure.
funny thing is, that when i talked to my parents after graduating high school, i found out that i was totally overreacting. they were proud of me NO MATTER WHAT -- even for getting Bs! i was setting my OWN overly high standards, and i missed out on a lot of fun because i was so overly concerned with academics. now i've realized that grades are not WHO I AM -- and i am always proud for doing the BEST THAT I CAN!
you are stressing yourself to the maximum over being an ABOVE AVERAGE student! you are in SEVENTH GRADE! you still have a few years of middle school fun to live through -- DO NOT LET STRESS CONTROL YOUR LIFE! work your hardest & be proud & confident in yourself! YOU ARE SMART, YOU ARE ACCOMPLISHED, and you need to DOMINATE LIFE (both in and out of school!).
colleges do NOT look at anything but your HIGH SCHOOL GRADES & BOARD SCORES -- you do NOT have to worry right now about college!
as for the physical problems, i'd DEFINITELY see a doctor to see if you can get tested for ADD or ADHD. if you happened to be diagnosed with a learning disability, medicine or tutoring may help you keep up your amazing grades.
hope this helps. good luck with everything, girl! remember: RELAX -- everything happens for a reason!! trust that you'll end up in the BEST place for you, no matter where that is!

You should tell your parents about your inability to sit still for long periods of time. You should also study. By the way, I don't know what your grading scale is based on, but 88 doesn't sound like it's that bad.

Sometimes, when kids are pushed too hard too soon, their brains "burn out" too quickly. Even if the child is capable of doing those hard things at a young age, it isn't necessarily safe. Maybe that's what happened to you. Maybe you should try joining something relaxing, and giving your brain a break every once in a while.

well relax , just try harder when you were younger you didn't have as much things on your mind, just don't let things get to you, and stop stressing about your GPA that your not satisfied with and do something about it. try changing your studying habits. sleep in the day and try waking up at night when everyone is sleeping and study, what i found to be useful is study groups , but first study the material at home and then review it with your group they may bring something to your attention that you didn't notice.

Well since you have a hard time staying still for more than 15 min. i think you should get checked for ADD. There is medicine that can help you stay focused.
